Rock Band Wii version

Well, seeing as Rock Band Ps3 and Xbox360 was released last November the Wii version is a bit late.  Rock Band is an awesome game for the 360 and I don’t think that anything (almost) can mess it up for the Wii.  Some things had to be taken out for the Wii version.  Among these things were the create your own character, Touring the World, and creating a band.  The new system of playing through the game is similar to Guitar Hero, you just play a cluster of 4 songs at a time.  While it may be late and not as many things in it as the Xbox 360 version, Rock Band is still the best multi-player music game for the Wii.  There you go, Get Your Rock ON!!

Street Fighter is a legendary fighting game, one definitely for the books. I believe that Street Fighter 2 is possible the best fighting game that has been made. I remember spending (possibly wasting) a good amount of quarters in the arcade on it. Anyway the point is Street Fighter 4 is coming to the XBOX 360 and Playstation 3 sometime in 2009 (for America). Capcom claims that Street Fighter 4 goes back to its glory days from Street Fighter 2. I highly recommend looking up some video footage of the game. Just typing about this game has got me pretty excited for it. I can’t wait to get my hands on it.

Disaster: Day of Crisis

This game was announced as a launch tittle or soon after launch for the Wii.  After 1 year and 7 months and about 21 million Wii’s sold there is no sign of Disaster.  This project has thought to have been cancelled, but an April 2008 issue of Famitsu (a Japanese  video game  magazine)  revealed that they hope to have Disaster: Day of Crisis out in Japan by July 3 2008.  Many of you Americans understand that in order to play a japanese game they have to translate it to English (unless you know Japanese, in which case you could just import it.)  The translation process may take a bit of time so we probably won’t see it too soon, but you can still hope.  I mean us Nintendo fans are use to waiting by now.  How long did we wait for Twilight Princess?  Wasn’t it announced in 1999 or something?

Summer is here.

And along with summer comes lots of down time, or work.  Either case is cause for celebration, except the work case.  Anyway, this summer we are going to get clixgames back online (literally).  I’m going to kick off the summer post with an awesome article about Tales of Symphonia 2:  Dawn of the New World.  The game is about something going wrong with the worlds Lloyd has put back into balance, but for some reason nothing is right anymore.  The main character Emil lives in Luin (you should remember this name if you have played Tales of Symphonia.)  Where he meets Marta Lualdi.  Marta has whats called the Ratatosk core which means she’s lord of all monsters.  Together the two can capture and train these pokemon, I mean monsters and have them fight with them in their party.  Seeing as the game is set in the New World, we will be seeing all familiar places will be a real joy in my heart.  I don’t know if I’ve said this before but Tales of Symphonia is probably the best game in the entire world.  I’ve put over 300 hours into it and its been good to me.  So seeing this sequel come to American soil in the fall sometime will be probably the best thing since sliced bread, well maybe.
